• What is the extended warranty and its certificate?


„Serviso kontraktų centras“ offers the extended warranty services, providing a high-quality warranty service for home appliances and hardware at the end of the manufacturer's service period. By purchasing an extended warranty service, the customer gets an extended warranty certificate (EWC), marked by the unique identification number.


• Where can I buy the extended warranty certificate?


You can ask for extended warranty certificate at the store or online shop, or you can call directly to „Serviso kontraktų centras“.

• Is there a term to buy an extended warranty certificate?


You can buy your extended warranty certificate when purchasing your product or not later within 30 days from the date of purchase.


• What are the available extended warranty plans and their period of validity?


We can currently offer five extended warranty service plans:
1. Standart plan, which provides free device repair or replacement, if repair is impossible. At the end of the manufacturer's service term, in addition the guarantee can be further extended from 1 to 5 years.
2. Exchange plan, which is valid from the end of the manufacturer's service period. This plan is available from 1 to 5 years and gives the faulty device free replacement with a new or a similar one.
3. Multi plan for two items or more. This plan allows customers to save money, because the price of this plan is lower. At the end of the manufacturer's service term, in addition the guarantee can be further extended from 1 to 5 years.
4. Warranty Plus plan is the additional insurance plan you can purchase from 1 to 2 years. This plan gives the broken, soaked or otherwise mechanically damaged device free repair or replacement with a new one or a similar device.
5. Business plan for legal persons. At the end of the manufacturer’s service term, companies or organizations may extend the warranty from 1 to 3 years. This plan provides free device repair or replacement, if repair is impossible.


• What is the procedure of our service?


Our service usually takes place in the following order:
1. The client register the product failure by phone 8-800-20008, 8-5-263030, 8-645-87690, indicating EWC number. EWC number allows to identify the device and the validity of extended warranty.
2. If the customer's product extented warranty is valid, we register the failure of the device. If the device is small sized (weight up to 10 kg), the client is directed to the nearest specialized service. However, if the client is in certain causes, an item can be delivered to the specialized service. In case of failure of a large device (weight over 10 kg), the master arrives or the device can be delivered to the service free of charge.
3. When arriving into the service, it is necessary to indicate the failure of the device and to provide our extended warranty certificate with purchase documents. If an item is sent by a courier, it is important to send copies of the documents.
4. The customer has to take back his repaired item by himself or in some cases it may be delivered to the specified address via courier. If the item cannot be repaired, it have to be replaced with a new or a similar one.


• What is service period of the large device?


In case of failure of a large device (weight over 10 kg), the master arrives or the device can be delivered directly to the service free of charge. Within the period of 5 working days, the master contacts and individualy refer the time of the visit.


• What is covered/ not covered by the extended warranty certificate?


When the product is used following the instructions, we can eliminate all failures coused. The extended warranty plans covers the repair work and the replacement of the spare parts. However, the extended warranty service plans do not cover any damage or malfunction due to the following reasons: mismatch or absence of serial number; incorrect connection of the components; unauthorized repair and modification; improper use of electrical power; abusive, inappropriate use; damage of the item (in the absence of the Warranty Plus plan). • Is it possible to cancel the extended warranty service contract?


You can cancel the extended warranty service contract by informing „Serviso kontraktų centras“ or directly by returning the extended warranty certificate back to the store within 30 days from the date of purchase. The extended warranty certificate cannot be terminated after more than 30 days from the date of purchase.


• Is it possible to buy a few extended warranty plans for one item?


Yes, it is. If the customer wishes to renew his guarantee and to get insurance against breakage, water and other mechanical damage at the same time, he can buy two separate plans for a single item - Standart plan and Warranty Plus plan. In other cases, he can buy the combinations of Exchange plan and Warranty Plus plan or Multi plan and Warranty Plus plan.


• Where to register failure if the device of the manufacturer's warranty is still valid?


In case of device failure, the customer should refer to the place where the product was purchased, as during the manufacturer's warranty period the product is serviced by the store. Customers should refer to the „Serviso kontraktų centras“during the validity of extended warranty.

 

• Why the free telephone number for registration is out of order?


The client can register the product failure by these phone numbers: 8-800-20008, 8-5-263030 , 8-645-87690. Free telephone number 8-800-20008 is wired to the telephone line, so when calling from a mobile phone contact is impossible. In such cases, it is suggested to use other additional numbers 8-5-and 8-645 263030-87690.


Where can I find the number of the extended warranty certificate?


By purchasing an extended warranty service, the customer gets an extended warranty certificate (EWC), marked by the unique identification number (EWC number). A customer who wants to register a failure, always asked to EWC number. If the client has a hand - written certificate, the EWC number is located at the top of the left corner. If the client has a printed version, the EWC number is located in the middle of the page (denoted CERTIFICATE No. XXXXXX).


• Why the money is not refunded for the faulty item?


„Serviso kontraktų centras“ provides free device repair or replacement, if repair is impossible. It is not the manufacturer or seller of the device, so the money cannot be returned.
